BOMA 360 Performance Building

The BOMA 360 Performance Program is an online self-assessment that evaluates properties in six major areas: building operations and management; life safety, security and risk management; training and education; energy; environment and sustainability; and tenant relations and community involvement.

LEED Silver

The Crescent® is LEED EB Silver certified from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) under the Existing Buildings (EB) rating system, an international recognition for properties using strategies aimed at improving performance in energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.


Energy Star Award

The Crescent® has been Energy Star certified since 2008, meaning the property meets strict energy performance standards set by EPA and uses less energy, is less expensive to operate, and causes fewer greenhouse gas emissions than its peers.

CEL “A List” Award

Each year, CEL & Associates, Inc. compiles customer satisfaction survey data from thousands of buildings and communities to determine which real estate organizations and properties are indeed the Best In The Industry. The "A List" Awards for Service Excellence are awarded to those who truly provide a superior level of service.

The Crescent® Wins Dallas TOBY Award.

The Crescent, Crescent’s flagship office property, has won The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) award from Dallas BOMA for 2001 in properties of over one million square feet category.

“Congratulations to The Crescent team for Winning the local TOBY for 2001 from BOMA,” said John Zogg, senior vice president, asset management and leasing, Dallas Region. “I enjoyed seeing the team work together on the many projects to have the property in Winning condition.”

The Crescent is the only Crescent property in Dallas that entered the TOBY awards for 2001. It won the TOBY one other time in 1990 when Barry Gruebbel, vice president property management of the Dallas Region was the property manager. “This is an outstanding team effort and indicates the team has a lot of pride in what they do. Crescent, as a company, should be proud that we have The Crescent as one of our properties,” stated Gruebbel.

The Crescent also won an exterior landscape award in 1997 presented by the Association of Landscape Contractors of America.

In 1996 the exterior landscape contractor for The Crescent entered the property in competition for Environmental Improvements. The property won a merit award for seasonal color.
